Stay Cute and Comfortable While You Are Pregnant
For most people motherhood and pregnancy are positive experiences in their lives. Becoming pregnant calls for a huge change in your life. It just is not all about you anymore. However, as Dr. Phil says, the best thing you can do your your kids is take care of their mother. Part of that is making sure that your keep the style that you had before you were pregnant.
These days, pregnant women are looked on as hip and beautiful. Some of the rules of fashion do change for pregnant women. First of all, it is important to stay somewhat modest. In my opinion, it is unattractive and not hot at all when pregnant women dress like hookers.
This does not mean you cannot go for the sexy look, it just means that what is sexy changes a little bit. All in all, you should try to avoid exposing your belly and need to make sure you are wearing tops that are long enough to go around your stomach.
Obviously, rule number one in maternity fashion is comfort. Physically your body is already uncomfortable and your clothes do not need to add to that problem. The simplest change you can make in your wardrobe is to substitute your old tops with maternity t shirts.
You will have to look for maternity t shirts online that are designed just for pregnant women. They have extra fabric in places where you need it. Most importantly, they do not have extra fabric in places that you do not. This is a mistake many pregnany women make – they just go for larger regular t shirts instead of actual maternity t shirts.
It is not always necessary to invest in a maternity wardrobe. After all, you are only pregnant for nine months and your body is not even the same size throughout the pregnancy. It is possible to buy regular clothes made out of stretchy materials.
Also, if you do not want to invest in maternity clothes you can adapt the clothes you already have. Use scarves, cardigans, and undershirts to cover up places that your regular clothes no longer can. All you have to do is find cute accessories to go with the clohes you already have.
All it takes is a little bit of creativity to keep yourself looking fashionable and hip throughout your pregnancy.
